Colors: Small Group for Girls Only.

Will meet Every Wednesday at 4pm in the Green Room at the Campus House. The first part of the semester we will be painting in Primary Colors--The goal is to move toward loving God with our hearts, souls, minds, and strength. We will look at personal and corporate styles of worship. The second part of the semester we will paint in Secondary Colors--After learning about our identity in Christ, we will look for ways to be Christ to others.

Sleep-Over

The Girls will take over the Campus House on Friday October 23 for a one-night sleepover. This is the weekend after Fall Break, the weekend before Halloween. We will be watching movies, eating snacks, and making Halloween costumes (my plan is to try to get a few sewing machines to have available for people to use...). Along with all of the festivities, we will be looking at a spiritual discipline known as praying the hours. We will adapt this ancient practice with the goal of having at least one person praying on the hour, every hour. We will finish by having a Love Feast on Saturday in the morning and eating lunch together.
---- A Love Feast is a time when we can express what it is that we love about each other. In our culture, we are so often starved for love. We will sit in a circle and each person will have her turn to be the focus of our affection. "What I love about you is..."-----
